Uw
Heat transfer coefficient of the whole window (frame + glass). The lower the number, the better the insulation.
Thermal break
A polyamide strip separating the outer and inner parts of the profile to stop heat transfer.
Hidden sash
The window sash is hidden behind the frame from outside so only the frame shows, for a slim uniform look.
Low-E glass
Glass with a thin metallic coating that reflects heat radiation.
Laminated glass
Two glass layers with a PVB film that prevents shattering when broken.
